Epic Nation
The #EpicNation hash tag has been doing rounds in the twitter
world for a few weeks now. It got my attention because it’s not a usual hash
tag. Let's face it we are surrounded by such normalice so we are bound to notice the unique.
On 28th June,2012 the #EpicNation brand was revealed to the twitter world. A brand that’s currently being printed on
tees. My curiosity about the brand paid off thanks to my good friend as I was able to get one. So let me just say as I write this blog I’m currently rocking a
purple #EpicNation tee.
So what’s the big fuss about this #EpicNation tee? A tee is
a tee, as long as it plain, it’s just a tee, then you brand it and it becomes a
different kind of tee. I’m not a fan of tees but brand it in a unique fashion and $$$ sold. The few I own
are quite unique and cool. I choose to show and not tell. Sometimes words ruin things.
This is a collection of tees that will definitely fill my closet. While the utmost question on your minds is what Epic Nation means? And what the slogan at the bottom 'I'm A Star' stands for, I cannot tell you. However my interpretation is quite clear.
NOTE: This is my own opinion and not the opinion of the brand.
Kenya is an amazing country with amazing people. It's a country that has been blessed by God and as always been pieced together by the words of the national anthem.
The last stanza in our national anthem 'Let all with one accord, In common bond united, Build this our nation together, And the glory of Kenya, The fruit of our labour, Fill every heart with thanksgiving.' Hence Epic Nation, unique, different, similar, under the guidance of God the Father.
The slogan 'I'm A Star' speaks to me in that we are all stars in our own ways, it doesn't matter who we are, what we've been through, where we are, because we are all stars in our own ways, the more different, the better. No ones star shines similar to the next.
NOTE: This is my own opinion and not the opinion of the brand.
We are an #EpicNation and Stars in that Nation.
