Easter :)

It's that time of the year for coloring eggs, cuddling bunnies and reflections on faith. Easter! A time we share it with family and friends. Each one of us does it differently. Some pack their bags and take a trip to a place they'll unwind for a couple of days with family or friends, while others gather as a family (family gatherings).
Easter is a time I usually envy the guys who get 4 off days. With my kind of job I don't get to enjoy the luxury of enjoying any holiday unless it falls on my off days. My family got used to the fact that their little girl will not be there during any holiday but I always make it at any place they'll be ( It's called skyving from work, I need to at least enjoy the holidays) :) :)

Good Friday went to work in the afternoon thanks to my colleague/pal @amGeorgeKariuki , his the best colleague one could ever have at a workplace :) I got to enjoy morning breakfast with my family, something we rarely do at normal days because of our hectic morning schedule and the fact that we need to beat the #thikaroad traffic. It was amazing. Chit chatting, sharing jokes and passing time together. I wished time could move as slow as a tortoise but nope time was up for me to go to work. *sob sob*

How time flies on a holiday. Yipee!!! 7:30pm left work and head to 20th Century. Last time I was there watching a movie can't remember. My motto: "This Easter I'm going to do #random stuffs" Just Go With It totally made my night. Rating 8/10 I loved it, it made me laugh, feel like crying (all those stuffs) and made me wonder about life. :) The company topped it up 'Mr Mocktails' Something I learnt: Always go to the theatre when most of the Nairobians are out of town. :)

Saturday topped up the Easter. I did stuff I never thought I'll ever do in my life but by going with the Easter motto was enjoying every single bit of it. Destination: Nairobi Lunar Park "I'm not weird just young at heart :)", Activities: Everything They Offer.  Lunar Park has exciting activities for children and grown ups young at heart. Activities; motorised skidders, pirate boat, swings, helicopters, challenge climbers, merry-go-rounds etc If you ever visit Nairobi Lunar Park I recommend the Pirate boat, it made me look like a chicken in front of the little ones who were there. Have never screamed as much in my life as the time I was on that boat. That boat is %&@!$# scary. Funny enough it was only Mr Mocktails, Stranger and I who were so scared the little ones were ok. I'm sure they were wondering what's wrong with us. Kudos to them as for Mr Mocktails and I hats off we did a go job up there even with all the screams :) *Forgot to carry my camera but next visit will do so.

It was time to reflect to the main reason for Easter celebrations. Church looked different, so many things had changed. I'm a Christian and from a very strict Christian family. I read my bible every night and in the morning at the parking before I leave for the office. Sadly I just don't go to church :( But I always make a point to listen to Joel Osteen every Sunday morning and have a chat with God :) (Don't judge I have my reasons for not attending church.)

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. " John 3:16  The sermon was great :)

I'm writing this from my desk on Easter Monday :( while most Kenyans are enjoying the last day of the holiday. I'm not a happy girl at this particular moment but it's life. :)
