His Mistakes

I’m the typical girl who has been hurt and as a result walks around saying that there are no good men left. If she meets a good man, she’s not able to tell coz she’s carrying his mistakes.

His mistakes have pushed away good men. His mistakes have made this girl walk around with a bitter heart, making her put all the men in his basket. His mistakes have made her make the bar & bartenders her new found friends. Chilling at the bar, having shots and shouting that she’s done with men.

His mistakes have turned her to someone she’s not. She’s become a Bitch! She sits and reflects on the past and realizes she’s become different and it pisses her off every time. He left the relationship with all the benefits. She made him a better man... What was she left with? A heart filled with bitterness. Damn! He won.

Reality checks in, she stands and dusts off the dirt. Makeover top of her list, she arranges all the clutter in her life and starts living life a fresh. She decides to turn his mistakes to her advantage. Renews her relationship with her family and friends, focuses on her work and sets goals. Her perceptive of men changes and she realises that good men are out there.

His mistakes have made her a better person in society. She sits and reflects in the past, the difference this time, she’s all smiles because if it were not for him, she won’t be the lady she’s turned out to be. All the bitterness is gone and his mistakes are buried six feet under. As weird as it may sound, she’s grateful for the experience because it was a learning one.

So, he left the relationship a better man than he was... She left the relationship with an experience that transformed her to a magnificent lady. Damn! She won!
